I like to play
With spider webs in the dark
Soft tickles and harsh bites
I tend to forget lately
What the frame looks like
Behind closed eyes
I listen to the trickle on the window ledge
Kiss my lips in the shower
My damp hair in the morning
My pillows aren’t soft
or cool enough to soothe
My burnt fingertips

sink in, love
I wake up
You fall asleep
meet me at the beach
where dreams crawl to the shore
I will caress your cheek
as I come out the waters
Don’t wake me up
I wonder when I
lost you
to the night’s lullabies
sink in, love
tender, tender, tender
And I remember
you
forget me
The leaf
The willow tree has sunk
Down to the surface of the lake –
Not a single ripple
As a leaf caresses
The water
Air
Bright morning
The sun out the window
Cooks the air slowly
I dream of drops of rains
Sliding down my skin
Breathe in
Hot and swollen air
Sink in still
Underwater
My heart is restless
Nothing tastes of you
